Terms of use
Effective: 17 September 2026
These terms apply to your use of Make in Bulk at makeinbulk.com (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. The service
The site provides a free tool that creates QR codes from data you supply, running in your web browser. There is no account and no charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, but because the codes are static, codes you have already created keep working regardless.
2. Your content and your codes
You keep all rights to the data you use and the QR codes and files you create. We don’t receive your data (see the privacy policy), so we can’t check, back up or recover it. You are responsible for the content you encode and for having the right to use it, including any personal data of other people, such as names and phone numbers in contact cards.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t use the site to create QR codes that lead to malware, phishing, fraud or other unlawful content, or that impersonate another person or organisation. Don’t attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or interfere with its advertising, for example by clicking ads in ways that aren’t genuine interest.
4. Check before you print
The tool checks your data and warns about common problems, but it cannot guarantee that every code will scan in every situation – that depends on printing, materials, size, lighting and the scanning device. Always print a test sample and scan it with more than one phone before producing labels, packaging or signage in quantity. Label layouts are provided as a convenience; check alignment with a test print on plain paper.
5. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the site will be available without interruption or free from errors.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, materials or printing costs, arising from your use of the site or of codes created with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Third-party services
The site shows advertising provided by third parties, such as Google AdSense, and loads open-source components from the jsDelivr CDN. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. Links in adverts go to websites we don’t control, and we aren’t responsible for their content.
8. Trademarks
QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. Avery and its product codes are trademarks of Avery Products Corporation or its affiliates. Other names are trademarks of their respective owners. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
